News |The passing of Sylke Tempel
The journalist Dr. Sylke Tempel died tragically on Thursday in an accident caused by storm “Xavier”. She was editor-in-chief of the magazine "Internationale Politik" and a regular guest on numerous political talk shows. As a political commentator and scholar, she continually provided important insights and critical assessments that greatly enriched our social and political discourse. In September, Sylke Tempel was selected to be one of the first Thomas Mann Fellows.
She was 54 years old.
