Born in Sweden and lives in Berlin, Hanna Hartman was awarded the Südwestrundfunk's prestigious Karl-Sczuka-Preis for radio art in 2005 for her work Att fälla grova träd är förknippat med risker. Ms. Hartman was Composer-in-Residence for Swedish Radio during 2007 and 2008, creating a music which denatures sounds found in the world by casting them in new aural contexts that move from ambient to intimate
