Viktoria Binschtok, born 1972 in Moscow, Russia, grew up in Germany, studied photography and media arts at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig. She lives in Berlin. In her photographic works Viktoria Binschtok deals with circulating images of our globalized world.

Project
Los Angeles is known above all for its film and beauty industry. Here, ideas of a westernized world are produced and reproduced. Viktoria Binschtok wants to discover perspectives on site that exist beyond the mediated reality.
