Anna Sofie Hartmann, born 1984 in Nakskov, Denmark, she studied directing at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin. Today she works as a screenwriter and director. In her films she deals with topics such as transcience, place and identity. She lives in Berlin.

Anna Sofie Hartmann is the Villa Aurora Fellow of Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg.
