Pham Doan Trang holds a MBA from the School of Management, Asian Institute of Technology in Hanoi and a B.S. in International Economics from the Foreign Trade University, Hanoi. As a journalist, blogger and activist Pham Doan Trang commits herself to democracy and human rights in Vietnam. She published articles and comments in a variety of Vietnamese print and online media. Additionally, she organized political blogger campaigns. In 2008, she published a bestselling book that deals with Vietnam’s LGBT community’s demands for equal rights. Pham Doan Trang is one of the few journalists in Vietnam who publish bilingually, Vietnamese and English.
