Kriekhaus is a director, producer and screenwriter. His film "Klassenfahrt" (2001) premiered at the Berlinale, while his last project "Die Ruhe bleibt" won the 2012 Silver Bär for "Best Short" at the Berlin Film Festival; Kriekhaus contributed as a script writer and dramatic advisor to a number of movie productions such as "Verliebt in Berlin" (2006), or "Königinnen" (2009). 

At Villa Aurora Stefan Kriekhaus is going to research and work on his new movie project. It will look at the topic of arbortion in a contemporary American family and the clash of postliberal and traditional Christian values.
