Oswald Egger completed his studies of literature and philosophy 1992 in Vienna. From 1986-1995, he organized and co-initiated the Kulturtage Lana in South Tyrol. From 1989-1998, he published the magazine Der Prokurist in der edition per procura. Egger primarily writes poetry which has been published in countless anthologies, various literary journals, and in Der Große Conrady. Poems by Egger have been translated into French, English and other languages.
Since 2011, he has held the newly created professorship „Sprache und Gestalt“ at the Muthesius Art Academy in Kiel. Oswald Egger lives in Vienna and at the former missile station in Hombroich Neuss.
