Norbert Zähringer grew up in Wiesbaden. In 2001 he published his first novel "So",
that was received as "one of the funniest, weirdest and most absurd debuts of the last years " (Süddeutsche Zeitung), as "entertaining, sovereign, in a word, magnificent literature" (Die Welt). In 2006 he published "When I was asleep", followed in 2009 by his third novel "One of  many". Norbert Zähringer lives with his family in Berlin.
