Lilly Draga Engel is a director and screenwriter. She was nominated for the First Steps Award for Dran Drauf Drüber which was her graduation film from the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg. The filmmaker is known for her films Entschädigt (2008) and Findet Lilly Engel (2012). During her fellowship at the artist residence in 2005, Engel shot a documentary entitled Villa Aurora.
