She studied philosophy and cultural sciences at the Humboldt-University and went on to the University of the Arts, both in Berlin, where she attended Lothar Baumgarten’s master program. In 2008 she was awarded “blaurorange” by Deutsche Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken and subsequently taught as a guest-professor at the School of Arts in Berlin-Weißensee. In 2011 she was one of the nominees for the “Prize for Young Art” by the National Gallery Berlin. Kraus has shown her work in various solo- and group-exhibitions such as the Guggenheim Museum New York or the Hamburger Bahnhof Berlin. Her work has been shown in group exhibits internationally.
